People have changed their perspective towards offline business. There are many reasons why this may be so. Since there is technological advancement, this has made it possible for the online businesses to be thriving and therefore shifting people's orientation towards that.

Another issue is the fact that online businesses seem more convinient when you compare it with the offline business. What do you think about this?

Back in the day, going to a store or getting a service in person was normal, but now online shopping and apps make life way easier. Because of that, people expect more from offline stores. Social media and online reviews also play a big role; if a place isn't online or doesn't have good buzz, it can get ignored. Still, offline stores have stuff online can't give, like trying things out or chatting with staff.

With online shopping becoming so popular, many people started thinking physical stores were inconvenient or unnecessary. Everything was just a click away, so going out to shop felt like extra effort. But events like the pandemic changed that mindset. People began to miss real human interaction, browsing in stores, and supporting local shops. Offline businesses started feeling more personal and trustworthy. Seeing products in real life, talking to shop owners, and getting things instantly made a difference.

Suddenly, lockdowns forced millions to experience the fragility of purely digital life. People missed the sensory experience: touching fabrics, smelling fresh bread, trying on clothes, and chatting with local shop owners.Post-pandemic, many realized online convenience has limits. It lacks trust, community, and the joy of real-world discovery. Small offline businesses bounced back stronger as customers craved authenticity and personal connection over endless scrolling and delivery delays. Hybrid models emerged, but the "touch and feel" factor reminded everyone that not everything valuable can be clicked and shipped.

The pandemic was probably the biggest turning point for how people see offline business. When physical stores shut down with no warning, it became clear how risky it is to depend on foot traffic alone. A lot of business owners who survived that period did it by moving part of their operations online.

People started realizing that offline businesses have limited reach. A shop in one city can only serve people who can physically visit. An online business can sell to anyone anywhere. That difference in potential audience size made a lot of people question whether building something offline was the smarter path.
