In a situation where a company involves in a fraudulent activity with another company, who do you think would be arrested? Is it the person that perpetrated that act or the whole business would be sued?

It is nice to know that business is a legal entity and can be sued as it can also sue whoever that wrongs it. But there are some instances where the person that involve in crime would be arrested directly.

Yes. Business is treated like a body on its one. Their means it doesn't have to be separated. Most times, a business can be sued and also sues if there is a case to. There is a need to separate the two. That's why it is better for a business owner to have a legal advisor.

Usually, the owners aren't personally on the hook if something goes wrong. But with a sole proprietorship or a general partnership, there's no real separation.
