I run a small membership site, and most members are great. But a few are difficult. They complain a lot, break rules, or ignore guidelines. Some refuse to follow instructions, while others disrupt discussions. I don't want to upset them, but I also don't want them to ruin the experience for others. Removing them feels too harsh, but letting them continue unchecked isn't good either. Should I set stricter rules, warn them privately, or offer some kind of incentive to cooperate? How do you handle stubborn members without causing more problems?
