There is no doubt that many people now have seen digital marketing as one of the ways by which they can make money online. There are many aspects of digital marketing that can actually fetch people money. Some of the digital marketing skills include copywriting, email marketing, content writing and marketing, SEO strategies and many more.

Anyone who wishes to make money from it should learn all what it is required first to be the best in any of them..

First up, SEO – it's all about helping websites show up on Google. Then there's social media marketing – think Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, all that good stuff. Learning how to make cool posts or videos helps a ton. Content creation is huge too, whether it's writing blogs or making short clips. Don't skip email marketing either – sending the right emails to the right people really works. And last but not least, get comfy with tools like Google Analytics so you know what's working and what's not

To be honest, SEO strategies should be the first thing that digital marketers need to know. The skill is not as expensive as the other digital marketing strategies. And also, another one that is like that is email marketing. Though it seems stressful but not as others. For digital marketers that are ready, it will surely work out.

Start with copywriting because it touches everything else in digital marketing. Whether you're writing emails, social media posts, or landing pages, you need to know how to write words that make people want to take action. You don't need to become some amazing writer, just learn the basics of how to grab attention and explain things clearly.

Email marketing is probably the easiest one to start making money with. Businesses always need help building and managing their email lists. The tools are pretty simple to learn, like Mailchimp or ConvertKit, and you can practice on your own projects first. Plus email marketing actually makes companies money, so they're willing to pay for someone who knows how to do it right. You can offer your services to small businesses in your area and get real experience while earning at the same time.

I started with social media management because I was already spending time on those platforms anyway. Lots of small businesses need this but don't have time to do it themselves. You can charge a few hundred bucks a month per client, and once you have three or four clients, that's decent money for something that doesn't take tons of time.

Understanding how search engines work and how to get websites to rank higher is a valuable skill that businesses pay good money for. The downside is you can't really prove you're good at it until you've actually ranked something, which takes months. So maybe learn SEO alongside something else that brings in faster results, then shift focus as you get better at it.

Don't try to learn everything at once or you'll just feel overwhelmed and quit. Pick one skill that sounds interesting and focus on becoming good at it first. Watch tutorials, practice on your own projects, maybe do some free work to build a portfolio. Once you're comfortable and maybe even making some money from that first skill, then add another one.

I wonder if beginners should start with something that's easier to see results on. SEO takes months to really get going, which can be tough when you're just starting out and need some wins to keep you motivated. Social media marketing, specifically managing accounts for small businesses, can give you quicker feedback on what works.

The fastest digital marketing skill for quick results is generally Copywriting. This is because good copy, used in short ads or sales emails, directly pushes for an immediate action like a purchase or sign-up. It is focused purely on persuasive selling and gets a fast result, making it a great skill to learn first.

While Content Writing (like blogs and articles) is important for building trust over time, its results are much slower. Copywriting aims for fast conversions with short, punchy, and sales-focused words. This quick feedback loop and direct impact on sales can lead to faster paid work and visible success.

Honestly, is it still worth spending a ton of time on just content writing in a world with so much AI? That part of the job seems like it's going away or changing fast. Maybe it's smarter to focus on the 'big picture' ideas instead, like brand storytelling and video creation, which are harder for a robot to do well.
