I'm a bit confused about how to set clear expectations with clients regarding native ad timelines. I've managed a few projects where delays happened due to approvals or creative changes. I usually share a rough schedule upfront and update clients as things progress.

I've also tried breaking down the process into stages like concept, draft, review, and launch. Sometimes clients expect faster turnaround than what's realistic. I'm still figuring out how to balance transparency with keeping the project moving smoothly.

What's your method for setting expectations with clients about native ad timelines?
 
I explain that creating effective native ads isn't just plug-and-play. It takes time to craft content that aligns with both the brand and the platform. Typically, I break it down into phases: planning, content creation, approvals, and distribution. I usually estimate 2–4 weeks depending on complexity and revisions. I also emphasize that timely feedback helps keep everything on track. Most importantly, I stay transparent about any changes or delays. Setting these expectations early helps avoid surprises and builds trust
