I once ran a display ad test that felt a little weird at first. Instead of the usual polished images, I used a quirky, hand-drawn style for the creatives. I wasn't sure if it would catch on since it looked pretty different from typical ads.
I set up the campaign and watched the results closely. Surprisingly, those ads got more clicks and engagement than some of my more traditional designs. The audience seemed to respond well to the unexpected look.
It was a fun experiment that challenged my usual approach. What's the weirdest creative test you ran in display ads that actually worked?
