I recently got a negative review from a client, and I don't know what to do. It's really frustrating because I worked hard on the project. Now, I'm worried this review will hurt my chances of getting new clients.

Should I respond to the review, or just ignore it? If I reply, what should I say? I don't want to make things worse.

Also, do negative reviews always ruin a freelancer's reputation? Can I still get good clients even if I have a bad review?

You should respond to the review in a calm and professional way. Ignoring it makes you look like you don't care about client satisfaction. Write a short reply acknowledging their concerns and explaining your side without getting defensive or angry.

One bad review won't destroy your freelance career if you have other good reviews to balance it out. Focus on getting more positive reviews from satisfied clients. Reach out to people you have worked with successfully and ask if they can leave feedback about their experience.
