Ask Should Upwork reduce the number of Connects needed to apply for jobs?

Sending proposals on Upwork now costs more Connects than before each time, and many freelancers feel this makes it harder to apply for enough jobs without spending extra money along the way. For someone still building their profile and trying to land early clients, this cost can add up quickly and feel discouraging. Do you think Upwork should lower the number of Connects needed so freelancers can apply for more jobs without worrying about the extra expense?

Yeah they really should. Right now it feels expensive to even try especially when you're new and applying to 10 jobs just to get one reply. Lowering connects would let talented freelancers take more shots without stressing about wasting money. More applications means better matches for clients too.
