Ask Should Upwork reduce fees instead of cutting jobs?

Many freelancers believe Upwork should focus more on lowering its fees rather than reducing the number of jobs posted on the platform each month. Cutting jobs hurts freelancers directly, since less work available means less income, while high fees already take a large cut from every payment received. If Upwork wants to keep freelancers happy and active, lowering fees might work better than limiting job opportunities. Should Upwork consider reducing fees instead of cutting down on available jobs?
 
One thing I noticed is that most of this platform are after making money at the expense of the freelance. They see that freelance are in large numbers and they see them that they can easily make good amount of money from them by charging a little fee from their services price.
