Ask Should social media success be measured by sales generated or by how much the audience grows?

Both matter, but they measure different things. Audience growth tells you that more people are discovering your content. Sales tell you that those people trust you enough to spend money. The problem with focusing only on followers is that a big number does not always lead to revenue. And focusing only on sales can make you ignore the long-term value of building a loyal audience. Most brands do well when they track both and understand how one leads to the other over time. What do you think is the better indicator of real social media success?
