I'm having a hard time figuring this one out. I keep seeing Snapchat influencers talk about payment issues and it makes me pretty nervous. I read through stories from people who had to chase brands after finishing their work.

I checked a bunch of forum threads and tried to spot any patterns about how deals fall apart. I even made a little list comparing what happens when influencers ask for an upfront deposit versus when they don't.

I still don't know what's safest. Should Snapchat influencers always ask for a deposit before starting work?
