Clicks can show that people are interested, but conversions tell you if people are taking real action, such as buying or signing up. Some ads get many clicks because the picture looks nice, but if those clicks do not turn into action, the money spent does not bring value. When you choose what to focus on, think about your goal. If you want sales, conversions matter more. If you want traffic to test a new page, clicks might be fine. The better plan is to check both, but guide your decisions based on the action that supports your main goal. What do you think?
 
A click just means someone was curious for a second, but a conversion means your ad actually did something for you. If nobody's clicking, you know your ad needs work. But once you've got something people actually tap on, focus on the stuff that matters: sales, sign-ups, downloads, whatever your real goal is. Conversions tell you if your money's doing anything besides disappearing. So yeah, use clicks to test the waters, but let conversions be the thing you care about
 
Conversions are what you should care about because that is when someone actually buys something or signs up. The platform will keep sending you clicks if that is what you ask for, but it will not care if those people never buy anything from you.
 
People think clicks are useless, but that is not true. Clicks show you which ads get attention. You need to know what makes people interested before you can get them to buy. If you only watch conversions from day one, you will not learn anything about your audience.
 
Platforms will send you as many clicks as you want if that is what you pay for. But cheap clicks from people who will never buy anything just waste your money slowly. Conversion campaigns cost more because the platform has to work harder to find real buyers. Yes, it costs more, but you actually make money back.
