Ask Should freelance platforms keep their fees simple and predictable?

Every freelance platform seems to have its own way of calculating fees, and it can confuse both new and experienced freelancers. Some charge based on how much you earn, others charge a flat rate, and some change the rules without much warning. I feel platforms would build more trust if their fees were easy to understand from the start. Do you think simple pricing would help freelancers plan their income better?

Yes it is very important and majority of the freelance on those market places always look forward to something like this. It can be very difficult to price your service properly if it not clear to read the pricing terms of the platform.
