Ask Is there a point in freelancing where clients start coming to you instead of you always chasing them?

From what I have seen, some freelancers get to a point where the work finds them instead of the other way around. They stop sending cold proposals and start getting messages from people who heard about them or found their profile on their own. It does not happen overnight, and not everyone gets there at the same pace. I am curious what that turning point usually looks like for people who have been through it. What changed that made clients start reaching out first?

When you are just getting started with freelancing you will have to work at chasing the client up and down. The reason is that you are not an established Brand and you don't have authority to attract them yet. So you have to continue chasing them onto you have a well-known brand that attract clients
