A lot of people see freelancing as risky compared to having a regular job, and in the beginning, that is often true. But some freelancers reach a point where their income is consistent, their client base is steady, and they have more control over their work than any office job would give them. It raises the question of whether stability is really about the type of work or about how well you manage what you have built. At what point, if ever, did freelancing start to feel more secure to you than a regular job would?
