Building trust with a client you have never met in person has always been part of freelancing, but it feels like something has shifted. Clients seem more cautious now, maybe because of scams or bad experiences, and some of them treat every new freelancer like a potential risk before they have even had a conversation. For freelancers who are genuine and skilled, that extra suspicion can make the whole process slower and more exhausting. I am curious whether others are feeling this too. What are you doing differently these days to get clients to trust you faster than before?
