Underpricing is something almost every freelancer goes through at the beginning, and it usually comes from a mix of insecurity and wanting to compete with more experienced people. The thinking is that a lower rate will make it easier to get hired, which is sometimes true in the short term. But it can also attract clients who do not value the work and make it harder to raise your rates later. Starting too low also affects how potential clients see your quality. Looking back, do you think you charged too little when you started, and how did you eventually change that?
