Ask Is it better to have one giant guide or five smaller articles that link to each other?

A single long guide can feel complete, but many readers do not stay long enough to finish it. Smaller articles make it easier to focus on one topic at a time and keep the reader moving step by step. When those smaller posts link to each other, it also helps search engines understand the structure of the content. From what I have seen, this setup keeps people clicking more pages. Still, a big guide can work for deep topics, so what structure feels easier to manage?
