Some freelancers try to reply to clients at any time to appear reliable and easy to work with. Others prefer to set clear working hours so they can rest and avoid burnout. Both approaches seem to have benefits, but they also come with challenges. Being too available can be stressful, while strict hours may limit quick responses. What balance do you think works best, and how do you manage client expectations around your availability?
 
Being available 24/7 sounds nice, but it gets exhausting fast, and people start expecting you to reply instantly all the time. When you've got clear hours, clients know when to reach you and are more likely to respect your time. It also makes you look more organized and professional without trying too hard. Plus, you actually get time to chill and recharge. Of course, being a bit flexible sometimes is cool, especially if something urgent pops up.
 
Being available is good, but having clear working hours can help keep things organized. When clients know the time you are active, they can plan better and respect your schedule. If someone is always available, it may slowly lead to burnout. A simple balance works well, where clients feel supported but there are still clear limits.
