Sharing samples before a client asks can feel like a good way to show what you are capable of, but I have always wondered if there are rules around this. Some platforms are strict about what you can include in messages before a contract starts. There is also the question of whether sending unsolicited samples could be seen as spam or a violation of messaging policies. Do the platforms you use allow you to attach or link work samples in your first message to a potential client?
