Many freelancers build their own websites to showcase their work and attract clients outside of platforms, and naturally they want to link to that site from their freelance profile. The issue is that most platforms see this as a way for freelancers to take clients off the platform, which means the platform loses its fee. Because of this, many platforms either do not allow website links in bios or they remove them without warning. Some platforms have specific sections where links are permitted, but the bio is usually not one of them. Does the platform you use allow you to mention or link to your personal website, and have you ever had content removed for doing that?
