Almost every major freelance platform has terms that say if a client finds you through their platform, any work arrangement should stay on the platform, at least for the first contract. Moving a client off-platform to avoid fees is one of the most common violations that leads to account suspension. Some platforms even ask both freelancers and clients to report this kind of arrangement. Have you ever been in a situation where a client asked you to move off-platform and how did you respond?
