The idea of starting up a membership site to make recurrent income seems good to me but I don't know if starting from scratch is the best option. Buying an existing site seems like a shortcut, but I don't know the risks. What if members leave after I take over? What should I check before making a decision? I don't want to waste money on something that won't work.
