Clients often prefer freelancers with reviews and past work, leaving new people struggling to get their first job. I sometimes wonder if the early stage of freelancing has become much harder than before because of this heavy competition. I think the answer is definitely yes, freelances becoming gradually harder for the beginners who are just getting started. Whatever the service they want to offer in the freelance marketplace there are thousands of people who are also often the same services in the marketplace. And this create a competition for them to make money
