It feels like freelancing costs more today than it did some years ago, when platforms took smaller cuts and did not charge extra for basic features. Now many platforms ask for subscription fees, charge for visibility, and take a percentage from every payment. This makes it harder for new freelancers to keep enough of what they earn after deductions. Do you feel freelancing has become more expensive these days?

I don't believe that getting started with freelancing has become more expensive than ever before. Well this can be in some particular niches like graphic design AI services search engine optimization etc. but generally it is still a little bit cheaper to start a freelance business. All you need is your digital skills together with the internet connection and you're good to go.
