Many a time, different people that engage in digital marketing always confuse it with internet marketing. Is digital marketing always the same with internet marketing? This may not be so. Internet marketing may be seen as a subset of digital marketing, as most activities of the digital marketing are done on the internet.

I would argue that while the meaning is close, you should really stick with "digital marketing" when you're talking professionally.
