In my view, content is still the real engine because people click affiliate links when they feel informed and confident about a product. However, design supports that by making the content easy to read, fast to load, and visually trustworthy. So instead of focusing on fancy visuals, it's better to aim for a clean, simple layout that keeps attention on the content and recommendations.
 
Website design affects affiliate marketing more than many people expect. If a site looks clean and easy to use, visitors stay longer and trust the content more. But if the design is confusing or slow, people leave quickly even if the content is good.
