Ask How many reviews do you need before you can raise your rates on Upwork?

Raising your rates on Upwork feels risky when you are not sure if clients will still choose you over cheaper options. Some freelancers wait until they have a large number of reviews before even thinking about it, while others say you can do it much earlier if the quality of your feedback is strong. There does not seem to be one clear answer on this, and everyone has a different experience. I am wondering what number of reviews most people feel comfortable with before they start charging what they are actually worth.

You shame to have up to 50 reviews and ratings on your profile before you can start thinking of increasing the rate. The reason is that by the time you have 50 successful reviews that are positive there's high chances that you will have wealth of experience to charge higher.
