How does Fiverr work? Do you get paid immediately after someone buys your service?

Hello BMFers,
I am just a new freelancer that doesn't know more about Fiverr. I am only on it because I was told it is one of the tools I can make use of if I want to become a good freelancer. I am want to be selling gigs on it and I don't know how it is done. I don't know if I will be paid immediately I am done with selling the gigs. I don't know if I will be the one that will set the time that I want to be paid.

You are not going to get paid immediately after you finish the service. You provide service to the people and this can be content writing search engine optimization video editing graphic design etc. now after you finish the service you're going to win for 2 weeks to get paid because they pay fortnight.
