The main tool for this is negative keywords. A negative keyword is a word or phrase you tell Google not to trigger your ad for. For example, if you sell premium leather bags and you do not want clicks from people looking for free bags, you add "free" as a negative keyword. You should also check your search terms report often to catch new irrelevant searches coming in. Using exact match or phrase match keyword types instead of broad match also gives you more control over which searches show your ad. So what do you think is the most overlooked step when setting up a new Google Ads campaign?
