I just started freelancing, and some potential clients say they can't afford me. I try to set fair prices, but they still think it's too much. I don't know if I should lower my rates, explain my value better, or just move on. I don't want to lose clients, but I also don't want to work for too little. I feel stuck when someone says, "I can't afford you." How do you overcome the "I can't afford you" objection from a potential freelance client?
