Freelancing can feel very personal, so when a client rejects your work or a project falls apart, it hits differently than it would in a regular job. When these things happen back to back, it becomes easy to question whether you are good enough or if this path is even right for you. Staying motivated during those stretches is something many freelancers find harder than the actual work. What keeps you going when things are not working out the way you planned?

One of the things I did is that I have a checklist for everything I do with my freelance business. This helps me to turn it the own freelance in into a mechanical approach. This helps me to eliminate the emotional side of the freelance business. I prepare for the best and the worst case scenario in freelance business.
