A business owner should not only be giving his workers salary. There should be more to this. If not, workers may not be motivated. There is no way workers can be satisfied with his salary alone. How can a business owner now incentivise his workers?

If you just randomly give bonuses whenever you feel like it, people won't know what they're working toward. Set goals like hitting sales targets or finishing a project ahead of schedule, and reward people when they meet those goals. That way everyone knows what's expected and feels like the bonus is earned, not just a handout.
 
Simple stuff like saying thanks in a meeting or giving a shout-out goes a long way. Bonuses, extra time off, or small rewards can also fire people up. Giving chances to learn new skills, lead projects, or grow in their career shows you care. Even little perks like flexible hours, casual dress codes, or fun team hangouts make a difference. Really, it's about listening to what your team wants and mixing rewards with a good, supportive vibe.
 
Simple things like verbal praise, shout-outs in meetings, or small rewards can go a long way. Offering opportunities for growth, like training programs or chances to take on exciting projects, keeps motivation high. Flexibility, such as remote work or adjustable hours, also shows trust and respect. Some people respond well to performance-based bonuses or extra time off. The key is understanding what drives each individual
 
Just like many have rightly said, it is always better for the business owners to know more about their workers. This will let them know what drives the workers. Business owners must be rewarding with incentives like taking them out, giving them gifts and more of that to encourage them
 
Sometimes, a little celebration can go a long way in making the workers happy. You need to make sure that you make them feel special. When they do, they will like to do more. Everybody kikes it when they are appreciated. You can as well award them with promotion
