It is really frustrating when you want to do a good job but the person hiring you is not being clear about what they want. You try to ask for more details so you can finish the task, but they just tell you to figure it out on your own. This makes the whole process much slower and increases the chance of making a mistake. I feel like it is better to be honest about the risks. What steps do you take in this situation?
