Upselling and cross-selling on social media works best when you make it feel natural. I usually share posts showing how products can be used together or share tips that involve multiple items. For example, a craft tutorial showing several materials encourages people to buy the full set. I also use stories and polls to suggest upgrades or extra products, which feels interactive and not pushy.
 
For upselling, show off the fancy, upgraded versions of stuff your followers already like. Throw in some glowing reviews or influencer shoutouts to make it tempting. For cross-selling, suggest products that go well with what they're already into. You can do this through posts, stories, or ads that highlight bundles or limited-time offers. You could also use fun polls or quizzes to steer people toward products they'd love.
 
Up-selling and cross-selling on social media work best when you focus on solving problems or improving your audience's experience. Use posts or videos to show how an upgraded product saves time or offers better results. For cross-selling, create bundles or combo offers that seem practical.
 
Remember that when you are doing a cross sell you are selling to solve a related problem while up selling means you are selling to solve the same problem.
