Dealing with clients who are less responsive to your guidelines can be challenging, but there are some strategies you can use to navigate this situation effectively. Here are some tips on how to handle clients who are not following your guidelines:

1. Communicate Clearly: Ensure that your guidelines are communicated clearly to the clients at the beginning of the project. Make sure they understand the expectations and procedures, and answer any questions they may have.

2. Follow Up: If you notice that a client is not following your guidelines, gently remind them of the agreed-upon procedures. Follow up with them regularly to keep them on track and address any issues that may arise.

3. Be Patient and Understanding: Remember that every client is different, and some may need more time to adjust to your guidelines. Be patient and understanding, and try to work with them to find a solution that works for both parties.

4. Provide Examples: Sometimes clients may not understand your guidelines because they are unclear or too complicated. Provide examples or visual aids to help them better understand what is expected of them.

5. Set Boundaries: If a client continues to ignore your guidelines despite your efforts to help them, it may be necessary to set boundaries and clearly communicate the consequences of not following your instructions.

6. Seek Feedback: Ask clients for feedback on your guidelines and be open to making adjustments if necessary. Understanding their perspective can help you improve your communication and avoid misunderstandings in the future.

Remember that communication is key in any client relationship. By being clear, patient, and proactive in addressing issues, you can help clients better understand and follow your guidelines.
