Ask How do you deal with a client who does not value your time and often cancels calls or meetings at the last minute?

Waiting for a meeting that never happens is one of the most annoying parts of working for yourself. When a person cancels at the very last second, it ruins your schedule and stops you from doing other important tasks. You want to be understanding because things happen, but you also need to show that your time is not free. I wonder if it is better to charge a fee for missed appointments. What is your opinion on handling these disrespectful habits?
