I'm new to UX freelancing and don't know how to start a project with a client. I want to make a good impression but don't know what steps to follow.

Do I ask a lot of questions first, or should I show ideas right away? How do I understand what the client really wants?

I also don't know how to present my work. Should I share wireframes first or go straight to a full design?

Some freelancers talk about user research, but I don't know if clients expect that. What's the best way to structure the process?

If you've handled UX projects before, how do you approach them?
