It is better for a freelancer to know how more to win the hearts of the clients. There are many ways to get this done. Among the ways of doing it is making sure that they give the clients what they want in terms of their job description. Learn how to interpret their demands. And then make sure that you are working towards satisfying them first. When you satisfy them first, they will be early won like that.

Anytime in client come to my DM I always give them a warm welcome. I try my best to be polite and I listen to them before I reply any of their message. If there is anything they say which is not clear to me I am still going to ask again for confirmation. Most importantly I focus on providing high satisfaction on my services

Winning someone over once is not the same as keeping them. The first job might go well but if you disappear after delivery and never check in again, they forget you exist. A short follow-up message a few weeks later asking how things are going has brought me repeat work more than once.
