How do I protect my personal data from "scam" clients?

New freelancers should not fall victims of disclosing their personal data to their clients no matter what. That's why it always advisable for the freelancers to get their conversation done on the platform only. Not only that, they should make sure that they don't send money to anybody to get or secure tasks. All the conversation and everything should be done on the platform. What do you think about this?
