Ask How do freelance platforms protect freelancers from clients who keep delaying final approval?

Getting the work done is one thing, but actually getting paid when a client keeps pushing back final approval is a frustration many freelancers have faced. Some platforms handle this by setting a time limit on how long a client can leave a submission without responding, after which the work is automatically marked as accepted and payment is released. Other platforms require the freelancer to raise a dispute and go through a review process before anything moves forward. Has a client ever stalled on approving your work, and did the platform step in to help you or did you have to push for it yourself?
