Ask How do freelance platforms handle tax reporting for freelancers in different countries?

Tax rules for freelancers are already confusing enough within one country, but working across borders through a freelance platform adds another level of complexity. Some platforms send out tax forms at the end of the year, but those forms are usually designed with one country in mind and may not match the requirements of where a freelancer actually lives. Freelancers in other countries often have to figure out on their own how to report income that the platform did not formally document for their local tax authority. It is an area where most platforms seem to leave freelancers without much guidance. How does your platform handle tax reporting, and have you found a good way to manage it?
