Ask Do freelance platforms have rules about how freelancers handle intellectual property rights for delivered work?

Most freelancers I know never really think about intellectual property until something goes wrong. You finish a project, hand it over, and assume that is the end of it. But platforms actually have different rules about who owns the work after delivery. Some say ownership transfers only after full payment, while others leave it to the contract between both parties. It makes me wonder how many freelancers even read those terms before starting work. What has your experience been with IP rights on your platform?
