I'm currently working on creating pop-ups that will be consistent across both versions of our project, and I plan to include them within the "Design System" page in Figma. The goal is to standardize these elements so they can be reused easily throughout the design. However, I'm facing a challenge when it comes to prototyping: the button that is supposed to open the pop-up and the pop-up component itself are located on different Figma pages. While both the opening button and the pop-up are components from the "Design System" and function correctly there, the problem arises when I go to the Vert (Min & Max) page. The instance of the button placed there is not interactive or clickable during prototype mode. Any ideas?

I've run into this problem before, and it's usually because Figma doesn't let you directly link components across different pages in prototype mode. One solution is to create a frame on the same page as the button that holds the pop-up, even if it's just a placeholder. Then you can set the interaction there. You can still keep your pop-up in the Design System for reuse, but for prototyping, it needs to live on the same page as the button to work interactively.

I think the problem is that the button and the pop-up aren't directly connected in the prototype. You could try duplicating the pop-up on the same page where the button is located, or use an overlay interaction in Figma. This way, clicking the button on any page can trigger the pop-up as an overlay, no matter where it's located. It might take some tweaking, but it should work once everything is aligned.
