It is surprising how often people forget to back up their websites until something goes wrong. A site can disappear because of a server crash, a hacked account, or even forgetting to renew a domain. All the effort that went into writing content, setting up links, and building traffic can disappear in seconds. Backups may sound boring, but they save a lot of stress later. Some people use automatic tools, while others prefer saving copies on a hard drive. Losing a site without backup can feel like starting from zero again. Has anyone here faced that situation before? If so, how was it handled and what was learned from it? Do you now back up regularly or still take the risk?
