Ask Has Upwork become too crowded for beginners?

Getting started on Upwork today feels a lot harder than it used to be a few years back. New freelancers now have to compete with thousands of experienced profiles that already have strong reviews and long work histories. This makes it difficult for beginners to win their first job, no matter how good their skills might be. Do you think Upwork has become too crowded for new freelancers trying to build a solid career there, or is it still possible?

I will be real with you yes it's more crowded now. Tons of new freelancers joined so entry level jobs get over 50 proposals fast. I will still say beginners can win though. I will niche down write better proposals and show real samples. It's harder but not impossible if I will stay consistent.
