From what's out there, you do get a dedicated thread to talk about your business and share updates, which is cool, but editing old posts isn't really confirmed.

If you compare it to similar forums, editing is usually limited or tied to certain account levels, not just because you have a company thread. So yeah, you can keep your thread active and updated, but going back and changing older posts might not always be an option

That assertion sounds partly reasonable, but it may not be completely accurate. Most forums usually allow businesses with paid memberships to edit their own company threads, especially because business information, offers, links, and updates may change over time. It would not make much sense for a company to pay for visibility and then be unable to update important details later.
