Different arguments have been ensued in which each side takes the side they they possibly believe in. In a way of driving traffic, many have the belief that the YouTube video must at least be longer, to ensure that the viewers get the details of the voices. Others do see this as wasting of time. They believe in other ways of generating traffic but not making long videos.

What do you think about longer video on YouTube?

The YouTube algorithm tends to favor videos that increase watch time and viewer engagement. Longer videos allow creators to explore topics in depth, keep audiences watching for extended periods, and encourage binge-watching if the content remains engaging. This higher watch time signals to the algorithm that the video is valuable, boosting its visibility in recommendations and search results. However, length alone does not guarantee success. Longer videos drive viewers only when they maintain strong storytelling, pacing, and relevance throughout.
