Does freelancing really make much money as they always claim?

Many people have refuted the claim that freelancing always give them much money as they always claim. In fact, many new freelancers are kured into it because of the money involved. Does that mean truly freelancing give money as they claim? To be hones,t, there is money in freelancing but not everybody will get this money. It is only for those that can dedicate their time to make the money. What do you think?
