Does learning freelancing as students really worth it all?

I have seen students burning time just to learn freelancing. They believe that they can make enough for themselves with freelancing. Most of the times, they go extra mile finding different ways by which they can learn freelancing. Some even pay online even when they don't have much money with them. I do wonder if it truly worth it to be paying or even running after promoting freelancing platforms. What do you think of this? You can share it in the comment section below.

Yes it worth it because I've seen some students who are making consistent income for themselves with freelancing business. There was a time I was having a chat with one of them and he told me that is making nothing less than okay $1,000 every month with three last business.
